There’s much excitement while preparing for the music festival season. While dreaming of dancing to amazing sets by your favorite headliners, you can’t forget the most important one- you! Your rave fashion wardrobe is a key element to your festival experience. With all the popular rave clothing brands out there, how do you stand out and stay true to your personal style? With all the looks that you’ll need, I’ll show you how to not break the bank and still look original, with my creative styling tips.

From trendy bodysuits to coordinating sets; I’m going to show you how to style swimwear, into popular rave fashion. Swimsuits offer a wider selection of options for these staple pieces, that you can wear from the “Beach to The RAVE and Everywhere in Between!” Stretch your budget further, knowing that your rave wardrobe investments can be worn time and time again. Your existing swimsuits can be transformed into a variety of fresh, new looks too!

I'm Ellie, Founder and Owner of Amuse H2O Swimwear, connoisseur of music festivals and nightlife addict! I’m going to share with you my quintessential swimwear styling tips to get you through the festival season looking fabulous! In 2023 alone, my husband, Sid and I attended more than a dozen festivals from- Ultra Music Festival Miami, Electric Daisy Carnival in Las Vegas and Orlando, Imagine Music Festival in Georgia to Nashville’s Deep Tropics! I’ve seen many different festival, fashion trends throughout my years of raving. I’m constantly impressed and inspired by everyone’s creative looks. I curate my looks following the trends that I like, but choose pieces that are more aligned with my style. As a mature raver, younger mainstream rave clothing lines don't offer much of a selection that’s suitable to my tastes. However, I still want to look sexy and I'm already comfortable wearing swimwear living in Miami. Swimwear is made from sturdy, activewear fabrics and are cut to stay in place. They’re meant to get wet and will quickly wick away moisture. There are more coverage options and contemporary designs to choose from when it comes to swimwear- amazing embellishments, embroidery, beading, hardware, patterns, textures, 3D adornments like bows, flowers and more. I can also justify spending more money on a high quality swimsuit that will last, knowing that I’ll wear it again for a pool party or an after-party. Matching cover ups like wrap skirts and shorts can easily be incorporated into your looks too.

My signature festival basics are bikinis worn as coordinating sets and one piece swimsuits as bodysuits. Throughout the years, coordinating sets and bodysuits have become festival mainstays. Bikinis are the perfect swimwear style to wear as festival coordinating sets, because of their similar silhouettes. Create a variety of perfect coordinating outfits by wearing bikinis and layering with accessories. Large chunky, statement jewelry is a popular trend at the festivals, so it’s the perfect chance to incorporate my favorite silver jewelry from India. Jewelry can really change an outfit to look different from event to event. I’ve seen it all, from light up jewelry, pom pom earrings, belly chains to Cartier bangles. The key thing is to wear what makes you feel good and gives you good vibes. Remember not to forget your Kandi bracelets for those PLUR moments. I’ve worn stockings in every color and style, which are a favorite rave accessory trend. My staple rave shoes are a pair of black Versace leather booties, a lighter version of those ever popular platform knee high boots. Be inspired by rave fashion trends, but make it your own. I love my Versace fanny pack that holds my essential hand fan and Versace purple/pink ombre sunglasses that always complete my look.

Bodysuits are core pieces in every rave bae’s closet. Seen at the festivals in a variety of sleeve lengths, from thin straps, sleeveless to long sleeves. Dressed in that sexy silhouette, you’ll be all legs! One piece swimsuits are cut like bodysuit shapes and can easily be styled into a multitude of festival looks according to your individual style. My favorite one piece swimsuit is printed with a rainbow colored swirl of flowers. Bright colors and neon have always been popular rave colors. This particular piece is special, because I wore it to my first festival. I like to to wear a variety of different belts with my bodysuits for a tighter waistline.

My most creative swimwear nightclub look so far was worn at Space Miami’s 2023 New Year’s Eve festival at Factory Town. I wore Amuse H2O Swimwear’s Artemis bikini top with a black g-string, under a pair of Versace sheer leggings. A Versace logo, denim jacket finished the look with a pair of red bottom, Christian Louboutin sneakers and my signature, Versace ombre sunglasses. I chose a butter yellow Chanel mini bag for the night.

Our Thalia one piece swimsuit is perfect if you want that bodysuit look. The bandeau top detaches from the cheeky, scrunch bottom which allows for more versatility when being styled for other looks. You’ll be on trend with the metal hardware chains and rings that link on either side. Thalia and Artemis swimsuits are both available for purchase from Amuse H2O Swimwear’s online boutique www.amuseh2oswimwear.com.
